Multi-Element Mousse

This multi-cellular material replaces the inner tube and is designed to be used exclusively in off-road competitions (motocross, enduro races, off-road rallies, etc.). Fitted in a Mitas tyre whose dimensions match its cross section the MEM allows you to drive at a maximum speed of 130 km/h and provides a pressure of around 0.9 bar after fitting on the recommended rim.

Once fitted on a motorcycle, the maximum lifespan of the Mousse is 6 months.

For basic fitting 35 pieces are recommended, for front wheels (90/90-21 a 80/100-21) and 32 pieces for rear wheels (140/80-18,120/90-18, 110/100-18,100-18, 120/90-18, 110/90-19 a 100/90-19.

The lifespan of the Multi-element Mousse may vary considerably according to the severity of use and the type of competition. For example, it will be shorter in motocross than in enduro competitions.
